Your favourite Oreo Sandwich pumped up with a spread of Nutella and Fire-Roasted Marshmallow! The ultimate guilty pleasure.
To be honest, I’ve only heard of S’mores not too long ago. I live in Australia and never knew what it was until I saw how it was made thanks to Instagram. I’ve only ever done roasted marshmallows during a few camping sessions in Australia but I’ve never made a complete S’more that uses Graham crackers and chocolate so I was excited to try.
However I had no idea how to find Graham crackers in Australia so I’ve made my own version. Not with Graham but with Oreo. Not with chocolate but Nutella spread! Aha! Just thinking about it makes me excited.
Because it’s winter right now it’s impossible to go out for camping so I just made the roasted mashmallows within the comfort of my own home using the gas cooktop. Oven might be good as well but using the fire from the stove is way faster.
Besides, everyone can take part during roasting the marshmallow and assembling the Oreo Nutella S’mores themselves as it’s super easy and fun to make.
These little bites will be gone in seconds if you let them take part during your camping activity, kids birthday parties, or even just an afternoon snack session.
But be careful not too eat these Oreo Nutella S’mores too much or too often as it’s not friendly to your waist at all.
- 6 Oreo biscuit
- 6 tsp Nutella spread
- 3 medium sized marshmallows, halved (or 6 mini mashmallows)
- Turn on the burner on the stove top. Prick a marshmallow with a small fork or a stick and place marshmallow just about 5cms above the fire.
- Cook marshmallow for 1 minute while turning occassionally until marshmallow becomes golden brown and caramelised. Repeat with the remaining marshmallows.
- Separate Oreo sandwich and spread the top biscuit with Nutella. Place roasted marshmallow on top of the base that has the filling and then press the marshmallow with the top biscuit.
